GEMININ-EP355

ALCL stained with Anti-Geminin

GEMININ-EP355

Geminin is a regulator of DNA Replication . It interacts with DNA replication initiation factor CDT1P to inhibit the initiation of DNA replication .Geminin is absent during G1 phase, accumulates during S, G2 and M phases, and disappears at the metaphase-anaphase transition. Geminin is expressed in proliferating cells. Over expression of Geminin has been found in tumors and the expression of Geminin in Lymphomas and Carcinomas of the breast, colon and stomach is Correlated with cell proliferation as measured by Ki-67 staining.
