Chromogenic Substrates

Visualization is an important tool in Immunohistochemistry process. The binding of primary and secondary antibodies in the process is illuminated by the enzymatic reaction of Horseradish peroxidase and chromogenic substrates such as DAB(3,3’-Diaminobenzidine) and AEC (3-Amino-9-EthylCarbazole). The biochemical reaction converts the substrate into a pigment reaction product, which produces a...

Citrate Buffer(50X)

Citrate buffer is a low pH, 6.0 acidic retrieval solution. The citrate buffer is formulated to break the cross-linking of formaldehyde bonds and act as chelating agent. It remains pH stable during high heat temperatures.

EDTA Buffer(50X)

EDTA buffer is a high pH, 8.0 alkaline retrieval solution. The high pH helps in easy hydrolysis of formaldehyde bonds during heat retrieval technique. It is non- toxic, non-flammable, odorless solution.

Immunowash Buffer

Designed and formulated for washing steps during Immunohistochemical staining. It act as pH stabilizer and contains surfactant for uniform spreading of reagents and also reduces background effects. It comes in standard pack size of 500 ml and makes final working volume of 12.5 liters.

Positively Charged Slides

Most tissue sections in an aqueous medium, pH 5-7 carry negative charges. So, sections tend to adhere well to a glass slide if it is treated in such a way as to make it positively charged. The modification is usually accomplished either by coating the slide with a basic polymer or by a chemical reaction that leaves amino groups linked by covalent bonds to the silicon atoms of the glass....

Primary Antibody Diluents

Primary Antibody Diluent is primarily used for the dilution of concentrated primary antibodies for use in immunohistochemical staining. It is intended for higher antibody titres and acts as stabilizer. It contains protein carriers and preservative to use it for long term antibody storage.

Reagent Blocker(PAP Pen)

Reagent Blocker(PAP Pen) is a hydrophobic barrier marker pen, which repels the aqueous based reagents. When encircled around the tissue, it lets the reagent sit on the tissue and helps prevent the loss of reagents. It also helps in uniform spreading of reagent on the tissue and save cost per slide too. Reagent Blocker is insoluble in alcohol and acetone but soluble in Xylene and thus makes it...

Solvent Resistant Marker

It is a twin point permanent marker useful for marking on Frosted/Painted Glass slides, plastic cassettes of paraffin embedding, eppendorf tubes etc. The marker is insoluble in alcohol, xylene and water. It dries up instantly on glass surface and is heat resistant up to 250℃. The wide and fine point tip helps write on the smallest areas. It is highly useful in Histology and Immunohistochemistry...

Tris EDTA Buffer(50X)

Tris EDTA buffer is a high pH, 9.0 alkaline retrieval solution. The effects of pH on different formaldehyde-fixed epitopes are due to their different constituent amino acids linked to formaldehyde being more easily broken in alkaline medium. It is mostly used for nuclear markers and tends to pick some background.

UNIspread Positively Charged Slides-Hydrophilic

Tissue loss during immunohistochemical staining procedures may occur due to weak interaction of a tissue sample with glass surfaces. Histological methods for preparing tissue sections for microscopic examination commonly use glass slides with a modified surface chemistry enhance tissue adhesion. Such surface modifications typically include imparting a net positive electrical charge to the slide...
